Location

Mahale Mountains National Park is situated in western Tanzania, along the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika. Covering approximately 1,613 square kilometers, the park encompasses the Mahale Mountain range, dense forests, and pristine beaches. It’s located about 128 kilometers south of Kigoma town, accessible only by boat or small aircraft.
